Open Photoshop and Load the Image

Take a look at the image you want to remove a background from. Open Photoshop and drag the image into the work area. There are two different ways to drag an image into the creative edit area. You can drag the image from the Layer Palette or click on the File menu and choose Save as Layers.  Step 2: Import Layers from the Layer Palette  With your image selected, click the Layers Palette button in the top right corner of Photoshop.  Step 3: File > Load Layer Mask  Click the File menu and choose Load Layer Mask from the pop-up menu. This will load the layers in a new layer.  Step 4: Set up the Layer Mask  With the layers in place, click the Edit button and give the mask a value of Overlay .

Open the photo you want to remove the background from and save it as a new file.  Clean up the Background  Before removing the background layer, you need to do a few cleanup steps on it. First, you will need to remove any unneeded background.
